On the occasion of the 95th anniversary of the founding of the China Textile Engineering Society, the 15th China Textile Academic Annual Conference was held in Nantong City, Jiangsu Province on October 18-19. The annual meeting, with the theme of "Academia + Innovation + Industry +", conducted cross-field and cross-disciplinary academic exchanges around the latest cutting-edge technologies in the textile industry. And four sub-awards of the 2025 China Textile Engineering Society Science and Technology Award were presented (Textile Science Achievement Award, Textile Science and Technology Innovation Award, "Zhongfu Shenying" Textile Youth Science and Technology Award, Frontiers of Textile Science Award); The 26th Chen Weiji Thesis Excellence Action Plan and the selection results of the 2025 Textile Doctoral and Master's Thesis Excellence Action Plan were released. The conference features one main venue, 21 sub-venues, as well as poster displays and exhibition areas for new technologies and products.

This annual conference is guided by the China National Textile and Apparel Council, hosted by the China Textile Engineering Society, organized by Nantong University, and co-organized by Zhongfu Shenying Carbon Fiber Co., LTD. The opening ceremony of the main venue and the keynote report session were respectively hosted by Zhang Hongling, the chief engineer of the China Textile Engineering Society, and Hua Liang, the vice president of Nantong University.
