Intangible cultural heritage is not static heritage but a flowing life. Sun Huaibin, the former vice president of the China National Textile and Apparel Council, pointed out that textile intangible cultural heritage is an important part of China's fine traditional culture. It is the folk wisdom and spiritual home gradually formed by people of all ethnic groups in China in their daily life, production and ecology over a long period of history. The China Textile Intangible Cultural Heritage Conference, which has been held for nine years, has left its footprints all over the country and has become a widely influential industry brand event. It has promoted excellent traditional culture and contributed to the high-quality development of the industry. In his speech, Sun Huaibin expressed his highest respect to the inheritors of textile intangible cultural heritage, designers, entrepreneurs and other disseminators, affirmed their contributions to the protection and inheritance of intangible cultural heritage, and called on everyone to join hands to revitalize intangible cultural heritage and practice the concept of "intangible cultural heritage is one family".

Ren Yingwei, the Party Secretary of Chengdu Textile College, stated that as a higher education institution rooted in the Sichuan-Chongqing region and deeply engaged in the textile field for 86 years, Chengdu Textile College has always regarded the inheritance and promotion of textile intangible cultural heritage and the service of the national cultural strategy as its important mission. Hosting this conference is a concrete action to devote itself to the systematic protection of intangible cultural heritage. The school has promoted the digital protection, revitalization and inheritance of textile intangible cultural heritage, as well as the integration of "intangible cultural heritage + fashion" and "intangible cultural heritage + industry" by establishing institutions such as the Key Laboratory of Digital Protection and Inheritance of Weaving and Embroidery Skills of the Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism and the Chengdu Shu Brocade and Shu Embroidery Industry-University-Research-Application Collaborative Innovation Center, and jointly building courses with intangible cultural heritage masters. In the future, taking this conference as an opportunity, we will further deepen the integration of "intangible cultural heritage + education", "intangible cultural heritage + technology" and "intangible cultural heritage + industry", and build a new highland for the inheritance and innovation of textile intangible cultural heritage.

A relevant official from the Standing Committee of the Chengdu Municipal People's Congress stated that Chengdu is a famous city with a long history and rich culture. All along, it has attached great importance to the inheritance, protection and innovative development of Shu brocade and Shu embroidery, regarding it as an important approach to building the "Three Cities and Three Capitals" brand and becoming a world-renowned cultural and tourism city. In the future, Chengdu will focus on industrial development, plan and build three major industrial bases: Jinmen Jinxiu, Anjing Shu Embroidery, and Huanhua Jinxiu Workshop, and establish a service system integrating R&D and design, sales networks, and testing and certification. Focus on talent cultivation, support universities and vocational colleges in Chengdu to strengthen the construction of Shu brocade and Shu embroidery disciplines, and cultivate compound talents and industry-scarce skilled talents in a targeted manner. Focus on innovative applications, promote the cross-border integration of Shu brocade and embroidery with industries such as clothing, home furnishings, and digital creativity, and enable Shu brocade and embroidery to thrive through inheritance and innovation, better meeting the people's ever-growing needs for a better life.
