After the beginning of summer, major clothing stores have been putting sun-protective clothing on their shelves. The sales of lightweight, breathable and UV-protective sun-protective clothing have grown rapidly. In a local textile workshop that produces sun-protective fabrics, 500 machines are running at high speed, and the dense silk threads are woven into fabrics at high speed. Sun protection is a basic requirement for functional fabrics in summer, and UPF (UV Protection Factor) is an important indicator for evaluating UV radiation protection. For instance, UPF50 means that only 1/50 of the ultraviolet rays can penetrate the fabric. The higher the value, the better the sun protection performance.
