On July 3rd, the first fourth council meeting of the Medical and Health Branch of the China Industrial Textiles Association was held in Nantong. Li Guimei, the president of the China Industrial Textiles Association, Ji Jianbing, the vice president, and representatives of the council members of the branch attended the meeting. The meeting was presided over by Fang Kuanjun, secretary-general of the Medical and Health Branch of the China Middle Class Association and a professor at Qingdao University.
Li Guimei delivered a speech, stating that over the past year, the branch has actively promoted the integration of high-quality resources, breakthroughs in key technologies, exchanges of innovative achievements, and the transformation of medical-engineering integration in the field of biomedical fiber products in China. With the support of the branch and key units, the project "Research on the Development Strategy of Biomedical Fiber Products and Their Industry" was successfully completed and concluded. Special investigations and research were carried out on artificial blood vessels, surgical sutures, etc., providing excellent suggestions and opinions for the proposals of the Two Sessions. These works have deeply analyzed major policy, technical and market issues related to the development of China's biomedical fiber industry, which is of great significance for the development of new quality productivity in the field of biomedical textiles. In the future, the branch will focus on innovation and break through technical bottlenecks. Improve the industrial mechanism and enhance integrated development; Attach great importance to standard setting, lead industry norms, and at the same time, the branch should continuously strengthen its own organizational construction, give full play to their respective advantages, form a synergy, and jointly promote the progress of the industry.
Li Guanzhi, deputy director of the Science and Technology Development Department of the China Association for the Production of Biomedical Fiber Products, made a situation report on the research project "Research on Biomedical Fiber Products and Their Industrial Development Strategy".
At the meeting, a discussion was held on the development direction and tasks of medical and health textile materials during the 15th Five-Year Plan period.
