Recently, the 2023 Textile Science and Technology Innovation and Technology Doctor Forum sponsored by the Printing and dyeing Industry Cluster Upgrade Service Center of Shaoxing City Keqiao District was successfully held in Shaoxing (Keqiao) Printing and dyeing Industry Engineers Cooperation Innovation Center. Eight young doctors from well-known universities in China exchanged views on new textile materials, green clean dyeing and finishing processing, high-performance multi-functional textiles, wearable electronic textiles and other hot topics, and jointly explored the high-quality development path and direction of the industry.

Xu Bi, associate professor of the School of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering, Donghua University, focused on the design and preparation of functional new materials, and he made a theme report entitled "Design and preparation of passive cooling textile materials" on the site, aiming to develop green and long-term cooling functional materials without external energy input. "Passive cooling materials, it does not require external power energy input, the cost of preparation is relatively controllable, conducive to large-scale implementation in the future." Xu Bi said.

Cheng Haonan, director of the Textile Engineering Department of Hunan Institute of Technology, described the processing methods, basic principles and application fields of intelligent textile materials in the fields of pressure sensing textile materials, strain sensing textile materials, PH sensing textile materials and intelligent personal thermal management textile materials, and showed the latest research results and development trends of intelligent textile materials.

At the forum, doctors from Donghua University, Hong Kong Polytechnic University, Zhejiang University of Science and Technology and other universities exchanged their insights, providing planning and support for the future high-quality development of textile science and technology and new paths.

The person in charge of the printing and dyeing industry gathering and upgrading service center said that he hoped to take this forum as an opportunity to further strengthen the concept of talent first, focus on the training and construction of excellent engineers, promote the new development of textile science and technology, and promote the transformation of scientific research achievements in universities.
