The core of spunlace wet wipes lies in their base material - spunlace non-woven fabric. This material is reinforced by multiple fine water jets generated under high pressure that spray the fiber web. Under the hydraulic action of the high-speed water jets interweaving in different directions, the fibers undergo displacement, interweaving, entanglement and cohesion. This manufacturing process endows the finished product with the characteristics of being soft, skin-friendly, highly absorbent and not prone to shedding.

The weight range of commonly used spunlace non-woven fabrics is relatively wide, and they can be flexibly selected according to the application. For instance, some wet wipes use a base weight of 40 grams per square meter, which combines softness and toughness. Some professional-purpose spunlace non-woven fabrics have a weight range of 30 to 85 grams per square meter to meet the needs of different scenarios.

Scientific considerations of the formula

The liquid composition of the wet wipes has also been carefully designed. Most products use reverse osmosis deionized water as the main solvent, effectively removing inorganic salts and trace elements from water, which helps to extend the shelf life of wet wipes. On this basis, add an appropriate amount of functional ingredients according to different uses.

For instance, wet wipes with disinfection functions often contain components such as quaternary ammonium salt cationic polymers. These special cationic polymer antibacterial physical finishing agents carry strong cationic bactericidal genes and possess broad-spectrum antibacterial properties. For products for sensitive skin and infants, milder formulas are adopted, such as adding skin care ingredients like vitamin E, to reduce skin irritation.
